Another world class learning facility has been delivered by the Territory Labor Government to ensure our students get the best education possible.
Today is the grand opening of Dripstone Middle School’s new $2 million STEAM Centre.
Delivered by Local Territory company Maxcon, the new Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) Centre will prepare and inspire the next generation of architects, engineers, artists and scientists.
Over 550 current and countless future students now have the opportunity to participate and develop in a state-of-the-art STEAM Centre.
The educational facility was designed and built to provide a modern teaching and learning environment that supports enquiry-based learning, collaborative peer learning and innovative technology.
This is the fourth STEAM Centre delivered by the Territory Labor Government, preparing our students for the jobs of the future.
This week is National Science Week, the school’s Science Fair will be held at the facility to showcase students’ work to the wider community, with a diverse range of projects and exhibits, including experiments, models, and presentations.
