Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are aware of a bushfire burning on the western side of the Bruce Highway near Granite Creek (Colosseum). This fire is contained and posing no threat to property at this time. This fire is expected to burn for several days and crews will continue to monitor it. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. There is no threat to property at this time, however smoke may affect the surrounding areas. Residents are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep their medication close by. If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
