Murray River Council is encouraging community groups, sporting clubs, businesses and residents to take advantage of its free Grants Finder service to help identify grants and funding opportunities.
Powered by Grant Guru, the online platform provides access to hundreds of grants, rebates and assistance programs available from local, state and federal governments, as well as philanthropic and corporate organisations.
Mayor, Cr John Harvie said the service is designed to make finding funding opportunities simpler and more accessible for the community.
“Whether you’re a community organisation looking to upgrade facilities, a sporting club seeking new equipment, or a business exploring growth opportunities, the Grants Finder can help connect you with funding programs that may support your goals,” Cr Harvie said.
The platform allows users to register then start searching for available grants by category, eligibility requirements and closing dates. Users can also receive tailored notifications when new funding opportunities become available.
Council recognises that navigating the grants landscape can often be challenging, particularly for volunteer-run organisations and small businesses.
“Grants Finder brings hundreds of opportunities together in one place, saving time and helping our community identify programs that may otherwise go unnoticed,” Cr Harvie added.
The service is available free of charge and can be accessed at any time via Council’s website.
