Great Australia Day Swim

Head down to Middle Brighton Pier on January 26 2020 to take part in the Swimland Great Australia Day Swim and help raise important funds for the Rotary Bushfire Relief Appeal.

Supported by Bayside City Council, presented by the Rotary Club of Brighton, in association with the Brighton Lifesaving Club, there will be a range of swim events including: 200m Swimland Junior Dash, 1400m Open Water Swim, 2500m Open Water Swim and 650m intermediate swim.

And look out for the Council marquee between 8 am – 11.30 am and have a chat to Council staff about the proposed smoking ban and the areas where it will apply.

At 12 noon there is an Australia Day Ceremony, ahead of the awards presentation and raffle draw. All proceeds from raffle ticket sales go towards the Rotary Bushfire Relief Appeal.

With live entertainment and food stalls, the Great Australia Day Swim makes for a great family day out both in and out of the water.
