Greater Bendigo’s 2020 arts activities to be launched at Dudley House

The City of Greater Bendigo is holding its annual Garden Party at Dudley House on Friday February 14 to bring the creative community together to celebrate a range of opportunities and events in the 2020 creative calendar.

City Creative Communities Coordinator Maree Tonkin said this evening provided an opportunity to connect with other artists.

“It’s a lovey evening for the creative community to get together at the garden party, listen to live music and hear from Dja Dja Wurrung Traditional Owners,” Ms Tonkin said.

“David Hughes will provide an update on the developments of Bendigo’s new creative industries hub, The Studio, and guests can meet the City’s Creative Communities team and get inspired for 2020.

“The City supports a range of inclusive arts-based activities, workshops, exhibitions and performances and the Garden Party will be a chance to get together and talk about many of the activities and the opportunities that are on offer throughout the year.

“Participation in and access to a vibrant arts program for all residents ensures that Greater Bendigo continues to thrive as a creative, innovative and connected community.”
