Green thumb burglars clean out St Albans garden shed

Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify a man and a woman following a burglary in St Albans last month.

It is believed the pair forced entry into rear garden shed at a residential address on Taylors Road on Tuesday 14 January just after 6pm.

Once inside they stole a number of power and gardening tools which included a chainsaw, battery charger, leaf blower, lawn mower and a battery pack.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian, aged in his 30s, with a medium to solid build.

The woman is perceived to be Caucasian, aged in her 30s, with long brown hair and a medium build.

The burglars loaded the stolen items into an orange Hyundai Getz which they had parked on the nature strip outside the address.

Investigators have released images and CCTV footage of a man and a woman who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
