Grievous bodily harm at Meadowbrook, QLD

Police have charged a man after a 25-year-old man was allegedly stabbed during a road rage incident at Meadowbrook last night.

It will be alleged around 6.40pm, both men were travelling in vehicles along Edenlea Drive when an altercation ensued at the intersection of Loganlea Road.

The 25-year-old male passenger of a white Hyundai Getz exited the vehicle and approached the 21-year-old male driver of a white Mitsubishi Lancer when the driver allegedly opened his car door and struck the 25-year-old.

The 25-year-old Meadowbrook man then received two stab wounds to the chest, one to the stomach and a cut to the left arm.

He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious condition.

The 21-year-old driver allegedly fled the scene before attending the Logan Police Station a short time later.

A 21-year-old Meadowbrook man has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm.

He is scheduled to appear at the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today (November 17).

The two men are not known to each other.
