Grievous bodily harm at Sunnybank, QLD

Mount Gravatt detectives are appealing for public assistance to help identify two men who assaulted and robbed a 38-year-old man at Sunnybank on Saturday, August 20.

The 38-year-old man left the Altandi train station about 9.40pm and was followed by the two men, one of whom was riding a black e-scooter and the other, riding a blue mountain bike.

The pair followed the the 38-year-old along Sunnybrae Street onto Kardinia Street before approaching him on Arcoona Street.

The men asked for money before punching and kicking the victim, leaving him unconscious with serious facial injuries.

The first man is described as Caucasian, about 170cm tall, in his mid-20’s and wearing a black hoodie and black pants.

The second man is described as Caucasian, about 175cm tall, 30 to 35 years old, athletic build and wearing a hoodie.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision along any of these streets, to contact them.
