Free come-and-try sports sessions are available for the October school holidays as the Growing for Gold program kicks off once again.
The program is designed to introduce kids aged 3 to 16 to a variety of sports, in a safe and encouraging environment, with a range of sporting clubs across Playford hosting free come-and-try sessions for the community.
From cricket to athletics, karate to badminton and soccer to golf, Growing for Gold is designed for all abilities and skill levels, with the only prerequisite being a willingness to get involved and have a go.
The all-inclusive program helps break down barriers that may exist when it comes to young people trying a new sport for the first time.
Simply pick the session you want to try for free from the link below, then come along and give it a go. Anybody who decides to join the club after participating will receive a $40 SportsPower voucher.
