In line with our commitment to continuous improvement, ASQA has reviewed the suite of General Directions and determined that they be integrated as part of our guidance materials for providers going forward. This is consistent with our new regulatory approach and reflects our willingness to work with providers in the sector to support and encourage quality outcomes in the Vocational Education and Training sector.
It is important to note that the expectations of providers in relation to the matters covered by the previous General Directions remains, and there are no new obligations being imposed. The intention of our guidance is to be a resource for providers to help them understand their obligations as a registered training organisation with ASQA.
