The Annex A to AC 101-06 helps industry understand CASA’s expectations for meeting the airworthiness safety objectives.
We previously consulted on guidance covering airworthiness design standards, system safety and reliability, and adverse environmental conditions.
This consultation focuses on the remaining guidance, covering:
- manufacturing
- maintenance
- C3 links
- conformity
- envelope protection
- recovery from human error
- human factors.
The guidance will help drone designers, manufacturers, system integrators and operators understand the evidence needed to support AusSORA applications.

- provides enough information to support an AusSORA application.
