The Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Barry Calvert has congratulated the Windsor Paddlesports Club Inc. on receiving a new $801,218 grant through the NSW Government’s Greater Sydney Sports Facility Fund.
“Well done to all the club members on your successful grant application for this community facility, which I know was a lot of work. Council is proud to be able to provide the land for your new clubhouse at Macquarie Park in Windsor,” the Mayor said.
“This will be a major Hawkesbury sporting facility that supports water sports on our beautiful Hawkesbury River.”
The grant will enable the construction of a multi-purpose paddlesports facility at Macquarie Park in Windsor, which will provide a meeting room, watercraft storage, kitchen, change room facilities and amenities.
