Expressions of Interest: Join our LGBTQIA+ People with Disability Leading Inclusion Project Advisory Group
PWDA is establishing a Project Advisory Group to guide an exciting new national project promoting the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people with disability in communities and workplaces.
We are seeking 5 advisory group members who:
- Identify as LGBTQIA+ and have lived experience of disability.
- Reflect the diversity of our community, including First Nations and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) people
- Are passionate about driving positive change and inclusion.
The advisory group members will help develop the projects educational resources and activities to:
- Increase awareness of the intersection of LGBTQIA+ and disability identities.
- Shift public attitudes towards greater inclusion and safety in all areas of life and work.
- Ensure content and resources are co-designed and led by people with lived experience.
- Members will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, provide feedback and help create content that shares people’s experiences and stories.
About the role
The Advisory group will have 5 members, all who are LGBTQIA+ people with disability. Advisory group members will be required to attend online meetings. There will be a minimum of 10 meeting between September 2025 – March 2027.
All people who are selected to join the advisory group will receive payment for sharing their time and expertise.
