Help needed to identify injured man, NSW

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man injured at Town Hall Railway Station last night.

The man was found just before 11pm (Friday 28 December 2018), after he was seen to fall about 10 metres down an escalator guide rail, before hitting a metal pole.

He suffered a broken jaw, facial lacerations and broken teeth and was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from Police Transport Command attended, however, they have been unable to identify the man.

CCTV images have now been released to help locate his next of kin.

The man is depicted as being of African appearance, aged in his late teens or early 20s, about 183cm 185cm tall.

He is depicted wearing black jeans, a white collared short sleeved shirt and carrying a green reusable shopping bag.
