We are creating a new Open Space Strategy and we want your feedback.
Open spaces play an important role in everyday life. They give us places to relax, stay active, connect with others and enjoy nature. They also support community health and help protect our natural environment.
From 17 July to 31 August 2026, you can share your feedback on how you use open space, what matters most to you and what could be improved.
Your feedback will help guide future planning, design and investment in open spaces across Manningham, so they meet the needs of our community now and in the future.
What is open space?
Open space includes outdoor areas that everyone can use for leisure and outdoor recreation or which provide environmental benefits. These include:
- parks and reserves
- playgrounds and sporting fields
- walking and cycling trails
- bushland and nature reserves
- creeks, rivers and waterways.
