Heritage Advisory Commitee passes a motion urging Council to keep Post Office

At a special meeting held on 21 August the Heritage Advisory Committee passed a motion urging Council to:

‘keep the Post Office in public hands for the vision that it supports the arts and culture precinct and clever and the creative plan 2017 and council plan 2018-22 priorities and heritage strategy’

A role of the Committee is to provide advice and recommendations to Council on Geelong’s heritage.

Council will consider the future of the Post Office at its meeting on 27 August.
