Highly successful board reappointed in Central West

Key members of the Central West Hospital and Health Board have been reappointed to continue in their roles.

Jane Williams, Blake Repine and Dr Clare Walker will be continuing their commitment to Central West residents until 2026.

Ms Williams brings over 30 years of rural healthcare experience to her role and has been recognised numerous times for her commitment to her patients and the wider community.

Mr Repine brings decades of experience in management and advocacy, most recently working as the interim CEO of Central Highlands Community Services.

Dr Walker is a respected local clinician with experience in all areas of rural hospital work and in community general practice.

Continuing board members Kieran Chilcott, William Ringrose, David Arnold, Elizabeth Fraser, and Leisa Fraser will remain in their positions until 2024.

Minister for Health and Ambulance Services Yvette D’Ath said she was glad that the Central West community would continue to be represented by such a strong board.

“Ms Williams and Mr Repine have established themselves as essential parts of the Central West Hospital and Health Board and I look forward to seeing what else they will achieve in the next four years,” Ms D’Ath said.

“The entire board has delivered incredible outcomes for the Central West community and I have complete faith that they will continue to ensure that Central West residents have access to the best healthcare.”
