Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a serious crash in Hillarys yesterday, Wednesday 3 May 2023.
About 7:50pm, a silver VW Golf hatch was being driven north on Whitfords Avenue. At the same time a cyclist was riding on the same road, in the same direction. The vehicle and cyclist collided with each other near the intersection of John Wilkie Tarn.
The 64-year-old male cyclist received serious injuries, and was taken by St John WA to Royal Perth Hospital.
The 19-year-old female driver of the VW Golf was not injured.
