Police are investigating a service station robbery at Hillcrest last night.
About 9.45pm on Thursday 3 September, three males, one armed with a hammer, entered a servo on North East Road, Hillcrest. They demanded cash and cigarettes and ran off in the direction of the city.
Patrols searched the area with the assistance of Police Dog Rocky but the suspects, believed to be teenagers, were not located.
Fortunately, the attendant was not physically injured during the robbery.
Crime scene investigators attended the scene and collected evidence.
Police are investigating links to other similar robberies in the northern suburbs this week and have positive lines of inquiry.
