The man has been charged with Aggravated Burglary and Commit Offence, Deprivation of Liberty, Attempted Sexually Penetrated Another Person without Consent, and Aggravated Sexual Assault (x 2).

He will appear before Perth Children’s Court today, Saturday 6 May 2023.

Detective Inspector Darryl Cox said this a strong example of WA Police never giving up in their investigations into serious offences.

“Although these offences occurred over 31 years ago, we have remained committed to actively investigating them. Advances in policing technology and forensics have enabled us to identify an alleged offender, track down their location and bring these matters before the courts.”
