A man has been charged with more than 70 historical sexual assault related incidents following investigations by the Gold Coast Child Protection and Investigation Unit.
Police will allege the offending occurred in two residences in the Gold Coast Between 1995 and 2002 while the man was a serving Queensland Police officer.
A 75-year-old Gold Coast man has been charged with 72 offences including 66 counts of indecent treatment of children, four counts of rape and two counts of common assault.
He will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court in August.
