Police are investigating a hit and run crash in Gympie overnight, that has left a man in a critical condition.
Around 11pm last night, at Hilton Road, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle did not remain at the scene and the man was initially treated at the Gympie Hospital, then airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit investigation is ongoing and they urge anyone with information about this incident or who has relevant footage to contact police.
