Hit and run in Tarragindi, QLD

At 4.30am a 53-year-old Tarragindi man was jogging along Strathfield Street when it is believed he was hit by a vehicle.

The man sustained critical injuries and was transported to Princess Alexandra hospital where he is currently in an induced coma.

The man was shirtless and wearing navy blue running shorts and blue running shoes.

If anyone saw the man running in the vicinity of Strathfield Street early this morning, they are encouraged to call police.

Police are also seeking dash cam vision from members of the public who may have been in the area at the time.

Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
