Police are appealing for witnesses following a hit and run crash at Kallangur last night.
Just before midnight, a woman was located lying on the footpath at the corner of Glass House Circuit and Mowbray Court with severe facial injuries.
Paramedics rendered first aid to the 18-year-old woman before she was transported to hospital.
Investigations suggest the woman had been hit by a silver or grey sedan which was last seen travelling along Glass House Circuit just before the woman was located.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen a car driving suspiciously in the vicinity of Glass House Circuit between 11pm and midnight to come forward.
