Home Composting and Worm Farming Workshop

Join us to explore how you can avoid sending food scraps and garden waste to landfill by learning how to make great compost without spending a fortune.

The City of Whittlesea and Yarra Plenty Regional Library are running a free Home Composting and Worm Farming workshop that will show you how to create your very own home compost and turn your scraps into a nutrient rich supplement for your soil.

And to help you put your learning to use, the City of Whittlesea’s Zero Waste Rebate program provides local households a 50% rebate, up to $50, of the cost of composting items including compost bins, bokashi bins and worm farms so you can set up your home compost for less.

All participants will go into the draw to win a 220 litre compost bin.
