Hotel robberies Beverley and West Croydon, South Australia

Police patrols are searching for a black 4WD following two armed robberies within minutes at hotels at Beverley and West Croydon.

Just after 6.30pm on Monday 16 March, up to four men wearing hooded tops armed with crow bars and pool cues, threatened staff at a hotel bottle-shop on Port Road, assaulting a female staff member.

The suspect males believed to be aged between 20-30-years-old, fled with bottles of alcohol in a black 4WD possibly a Holden Captiva registration S311APC.

Then about 10 minutes later, two men armed with weapons threatened staff at Torrens Road Hotel at West Croydon, stealing the cash till from the bottle-shop.

They again fled in a black 4WD believed to be same car involved in the Beverley robbery.

The injured woman from the Beverley Hotel received a cut to the head in the ordeal and was conveyed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
