An investigation has commenced following a house fire in Sydney’s west last night.
Just before 10.30pm (Monday 18 November 2019), emergency services were called to Luxford Road, Bidwill, following reports of a house well alight.
The blaze was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW, but the house was completely destroyed.
Police have been told a woman was seen exiting the rear of the house prior to emergency services arriving.
Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
