Acacia Ridge Detectives are appealing for public assistance to help identify remains of a person located in the Stretton Wetlands area earlier this month.
A crime scene was declared after the remains were found by a gardening contractor around 8am on Friday, October 2.
The death is not believed to be suspicious however police have not been able to identify the person.
The date of death is also undetermined at this stage and may have been up to five years ago.
Police have released photos of some clothing found with the remains and believe the person is possibly a male with Asian characteristics between 164cm to 171cm tall and 25 to 45 years of age.
Anyone who recognises the clothing items or has further information is urged to contact police.
