Hunt charged with CA Code of Conduct breach

Cricket Australia (CA) advises that ACT/NSW Country’s Henry Hunt has been charged for breaching the CA Code of Conduct on 15 November 2018 in his side’s Toyota Futures League match against Victoria at Junction Oval.

Hunt was reported for breaching CA Code of Conduct Article 2.1.2 – abuse of cricket equipment during a match – a Level 1 offence.

The offence occurred during ACT/NSW Country’s second innings, following Hunt’s dismissal.

As per the CA Code of Conduct procedure, Match Referee David Talalla considered the umpires’ report, and proposed a sanction of a reprimand should the player accept the umpires’ version of events.

Hunt admitted the offence and accepted the sanction, no hearing was required.
