IAG appoints interim Group General Counsel

IAG has appointed Karen Ingram as interim Group General Counsel, effective 8 January 2024, reporting to Managing Director and CEO Nick Hawkins.

Ms Ingram joins IAG with more than 23 years’ experience in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Over this time, Ms Ingrim was with Clayton Utz, where she advised and represented clients across key business sectors, including financial services, mining and resources, retail, health care, private equity and property, along with state and federal government agencies.

Ms Ingram is Chair of Sunnyfield disAbility Services and a senior advisor for the Association of Children’s Welfare Agencies. She has a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney and a Masters in Dispute Resolution from the University of Technology Sydney.

IAG has commenced an internal and external search for a permanent Group General Counsel.
