Iconic Bjelke-Petersen Estate Auction Bidders Go Until 2am Records Broken

Last night in an iconic online auction event the Bjelke-Petersen Estate went to auction completely unreserved achieving record-breaking prices at auction.

On what would have been Lady Flo’s 100th birthday the Bjelke-Petersen Estate went up for auction at Lloyds last night which featured over 800 iconic items with no reserves breaking auction records, items labelled by the Government as potential ‘Australian Protected Objects.’

“Last night we saw some special and important pieces of history and memorabilia sell under the hammer that are so rare and have never been seen to go under the hammer before in Australia,” Mr Lee Hames, Chief Operations Officer for Lloyds Auctions
