Police have located a large quantity of methamphetamine and drug lab equipment at house at Helensvale this morning.
Around 6.30am detectives from the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch (West) executed a search warrant on the Latrobe Avenue address where is it alleged 500 grams of methamphetamine along with smaller amounts of LSD, cannabis, cash and ammunition were located.
Specialist officers form the Illicit Laboratory Investigation Team (ILIT) were called to the residence to assess a quantity of chemicals and laboratory equipment that was also allegedly found at the house.
Three men aged 25, 36 and 37 were arrested at the scene and are currently assisting police with their inquiries.
Investigations are ongoing.
