Detectives from the Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team have released an image of a man they believe could assist with enquiries in relation to a sexual assault at a music festival last year.
The incident occurred at a music festival in Flemington on 18 March 2019.
A woman was in the crowd when she was approached by an unknown offender and sexually assaulted.
After extensive investigations police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man who may be able to assist with enquiries.
Police are urging the man to come forward as detectives work to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
