We are aware of fraudulent emails being sent to some of our customers that falsely appear to come from Council.
These emails may use the name of City of Casey staff and request payment or personal information. We are urging anyone who receives a suspicious email claiming to be from Council to exercise caution.
What you should do
If you receive an email that you suspect may be fraudulent:
• Do not click on any links
• Do not open any attachments
• Do not reply to the mail
• Delete the email if you have not interacted with it.
We will never ask you to provide sensitive information through an unsolicited email.
