Works to improve the road at Tapitallee Road, Tapitallee have stopped temporarily due to failure of the Stabiliser, a piece of machinery that helps to strengthen and bond the pavement materials. The machinery is currently being repaired. Work on the site is expected to recommence after the October long weekend.
Whilst the road is unsealed, Shoalhaven City Council confirms that the road is safe to drive on. Council who is overseeing the road upgrade has put after hours traffic signage in place. Contractors on site are assisting with dust suppression.
