Epworth has published the Independent Clinical Governance Review, commissioned to examine our clinical governance arrangements, with a particular focus on gynaecology.
The review found Epworth’s clinical governance pathways, policies, processes and procedures to be robust and detailed, while identifying opportunities to strengthen them further. Epworth has accepted all 21 recommendations.
Many of the recommendations align with work already underway across Epworth. We will continue that work as we implement the Panel’s recommendations, alongside areas requiring new action. We will also work constructively with government, regulators and the broader health sector where change extends beyond Epworth.
