Police, Fire and Emergency services responded to a report of a industrial accident at the Tennant Creek Fire Station this morning.
Information is that a tradesman was electrocuted while undertaking contracted works on the roof of the building.
Efforts to revive the man at scene and later at Tennant Creek Hospital were, unfortunately, unsuccessful.
Worksafe NT have been notified.
Police are currently on scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident on behalf of the Northern Territory Coroner.
