Inquiries continue into public transport assault – Granville

Police are appealing for public assistance as investigations continue into an alleged assault in Sydney’s west.

Officers from Police Transport Command – Parramatta were told that six teenagers were travelling on the M91 Bus from Granville Station, when they began to verbally abuse other commuters about 5.50pm on Sunday 15 January 2023.

Upon arriving at the Blouza Hall Bus Stop, the six male youths physically assaulted another male commuter.

The six youths continued to assault the other man as they exited the bus before running from the area on foot.

Police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surround the incident.
