Pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 47/21, and at the invitation of the Government, the International Independent Expert Mechanism to Advance Racial Justice and Equality in the Context of Law Enforcement (The Expert Mechanism) undertook a visit to Sweden from 31 October to 4 November 2022, where it visited Stockholm, Malmö and Lund. The delegation included Yvonne Mokgoro (Chair), Tracie Keesee, and Juan Méndez.
