Inverloch tennis gets advantage

The redevelopment of four courts at the Inverloch Tennis Club, located at Thompson Reserve, is about to start.

The $800,000 project is being fully funded by Bass Coast Shire Council’s infrastructure renewal program and is expected to be completed by mid-March 2020, weather permitting.

This Project represents another significant investment in sport and recreation facilities in Inverloch.

The Project will see the redevelopment of the four top courts at the Club, replacing them with four new compliant courts with a high quality acrylic playing surface, to meet Tennis Victoria guidelines. The Project also includes the installation of new perimeter fencing and lighting. The bottom two courts will remain as is.

Council recognises that it can be a challenge to deliver the necessary works and not affect key recreational user groups, especially when much of the work is determined by weather conditions. The contractor will make every effort to minimise disruptions to sporting clubs, Reserve users, motorists, residents and businesses.

Access to the construction zone will be limited during the works. Council appreciates that these works may present an inconvenience and appreciates your patience during these times. The work will include the use of heavy plant and machinery, which could create noise and/or vibration during construction.
