Investigation into armed robbery, sexual touching of teen resolved in Southern Highlands

NSW Police would like to thank the community for their assistance regarding an investigation into reports that a teenage girl was sexually touched and robbed at knifepoint in the Southern Highlands last month.

On Wednesday 20 May 2020, officers attached to The Hume Police District commenced inquiries into reports a 14-year-old girl was robbed and sexually assaulted at a park in Moss Vale.

The matter was referred to the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad who took carriage of the investigation under Strike Force Willunga.

Following extensive inquiries and a public appeal for information, the matter has been resolved and the investigation is now closed.

Police would like to thank the community and media for their assistance.
