An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed in Sydney’s inner-west today.
Just before 2pm (Wednesday 26 December 2018) emergency services were called to Selborne Street, Burwood, after reports a man had been stabbed.
On arrival officers located a man in his thirties suffering a stab wound to the leg and head injuries.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Officers from Burwood Police Area Command have established a crime scene and have launched an investigation into the incident.
The offender fled the scene, no arrests have yet been made.
