Investigators from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested a 36-year-old man from the western suburbs earlier today and charged him with 39 counts of trafficking a controlled drugs and 35 counts of money laundering.
The arrest is a result of the ongoing review of AN0M messaging being conducted by investigators from the Ironside Task Force. It will be alleged the man was a user of an AN0M encrypted communication device which he used to facilitate drug trafficking.
He has been refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
The review of AN0M messaging will continue for some time and where sufficient evidence is identified further arrests will be made.
