It’s almost playtime in East Kempsey

Kempsey Shire Council

An exciting new play space is being brought to life in East Kempsey

Construction is underway to replace a playground along Rudder Street in East Kempsey. The new space is designed to encourage learning through play, providing a safe and enjoyable place for families to come together.

Despite wet weather, Council has made great progress in turning the area into a modern play space. The first phase has seen the installation of the new play equipment, a brand new footpath and seating.

In the next phase of the project, Council will be adding four new plants to provide natural shade and a new shelter over a picnic setting to make the playground an ideal spot for family picnics.

The new and improved playground will open to the public as soon as possible.

This playground has been made possible thanks to a generous grant from the NSW Government.
