Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Jam Jerrup.
Emergency services were called to Jetty Road about 7.40pm
Investigators believe the driver, believed to be a man in his 30s, lost control of the car which left the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver and sole occupant died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
