James Willson appointed as board member of the City Renewal Authority

The ACT Government has appointed James Willson to the City Renewal Authority’s board. Mr Willson is also a board member of the National Capital Authority (NCA).

Mr Willson’s appointment will deepen the strong connections between the City Renewal Authority and NCA and support integrated development in central Canberra in line with the ACT Government’s urban renewal objectives and the National Capital Plan.

Mr Willson brings a wealth of expertise and local knowledge to the City Renewal Authority’s board with over two decades of business leadership in Canberra, including as Managing Director and founder of local marketing agency, CRE8IVE.

Mr Willson joins six other members of the City Renewal Authority’s board who have expertise in urban design, architecture, planning, sustainable development, affordable housing, and community engagement. The board guides the Authority’s role in revitalising the central parts of Canberra.
