Jetstar Asia has added 46 services between Singapore and four destinations – Medan, Surabaya, Kuala Lumpur and Penang – to meet the increased travel demand over Ramadan and the Hari Raya Puasa holidays in 2019. These flights will operate in addition to the airline’s regular scheduled services from 25 May to 24 June 2019.
The expanded schedule will see the following services added over the course of the period:
- 16 services between Singapore and Surabaya
- 9 services between Singapore and Medan
- 15 services between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur
- 6 services between Singapore and Penang
Muslims in Southeast Asia traditionally celebrate the end of Ramadan with the Hari Raya Puasa public holiday, which this year will fall in early June.
