In true festive fashion, Main Street Mornington will transform into a joyous destination this Sunday 17 December 2023 from 10am – 5pm for the Mornington Christmas Festival.

Main Street, between Barkly Street and The Esplanade, will be closed for the day to accommodate the yuletide activities and entertainment.

Don’t miss your chance to connect with fellow community members, pick up a last-minute gift and enjoy roving street performances and magical music. There’s even free gift wrapping and kids’ fun!

Santa and his helpers will also be making an appearance at the 3MP Giving Tree zone, where you can donate vouchers and gifts for the Mornington Community Support Centre.

Mornington Christmas Festival is run by the Mornington Chamber of Commerce, with Mornington Peninsula Shire supporting the event through a $10,000 Community Events Grant.

Quotes attributable to Mayor Councillor Simon Brooks:

“The Shire is proud to support events that help to create a flourishing, healthy and connected Peninsula community.

“We have provided $20,000 in funding, spread over two years, to the Mornington Christmas Festival through our Community Events Grant program.

“Come along this Sunday for a Santa-sized amount of free music and entertainment, shopping and festive cheer.”
