Join characters from Paw Patrol and Jungle Book at 2019 Casey Kids Carnival

Pack your kids into the car and head to Akoonah Park for a day of FREE family fun, when one of the City of Casey’s most celebrated events, the Casey Kids Carnival rolls into town.

Council is proud to present the annual family day out on Saturday 30 March from 11.00 am until

4.00 pm.

This year’s event will welcome characters from Paw Patrol and Jungle Book who are excited to meet and greet some of their favourite fans, with plenty more happening throughout the day.

City of Casey Mayor Cr Amanda Stapledon said she can’t wait to see the community enjoy a free day out, which will be jam packed with activities for the kids.

“The Casey Kids Carnival is one of our most popular events and it’s not hard to work out why,” the Mayor said.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for local families to provide their children with a fun day out without hitting their hip pocket too hard.

“We’ve got rides, interactive games, face painting, roving entertainers, arts and crafts, petting zoos and so much more!

“The carnival promotes accessibility, encourages physical activity and further allows Casey to be the inclusive and connected community that it is.”

The main stage will come alive throughout the day with entertainment from various performers:

• Paw Patrol – 12.35 pm (meet and greet at 11.00 am and 2.00 pm)

• Jungle Book – 2.05 pm (meet and greet at 12.00 pm and 3.00 pm)

The Backstage Dance Academy, The Triple Threat Academy and South Eastern Allstars are just some of the other acts who will make an appearance on Saturday.

Cr Stapledon encouraged families to keep the date free and come along to the event, which is expected to attract thousands of local families.
