A joint funding call for Australian and Austrian industrial decarbonisation projects will open soon.

The Australia-Austria Industrial Decarbonisation Demonstration Partnerships Program will provide funding of AUD$20 million (€12 million). It will:

  • support advancing the development of innovative technologies to decarbonise for hard-to-abate energy-intensive industries
  • strengthen connections between Australian and Austrian industry
  • share knowledge that will benefit Australia and Austria.

Applicants must have at least one partner from both countries. Up to $12 million is available for Australian industry. Australian applicants can seek up to $3.5 million in funding for a single grant.
